Storehouse 408 is an intimate, modern and industrial style wedding venue located just off the 401 in Cambridge. It’s the perfect venue if you’re looking for a space for your wedding of around 150 guests. In this blog post we’ll show you 5 locations for your Storehouse 408 wedding photos.
If you take a look at Google Maps, you might notice that the areas immediately surrounding the venue might not offer a wide range of picturesque backdrops. Fortunately, there are a number of beautiful locations in Hespeler where you can take wedding photos that are only a few minutes drive (literally down the street) from Storehouse 408.
Just a 4 minute drive from Storehouse 408, Mill Run Trail (not to be confused with Mill Race Park in Galt) has a quiet pathway located about 20 meters from the parking lot. You don’t have to walk into the trail very far to find great photography locations. It’s not very wide, so we recommend this for individual or couple portraits. Additionally there is also a small, unmaintained field that works great for couple, or group photos off to the side.
The Hespeler Furniture Co. building was built in 1901. This building is just around the corner from Mill Run Trail on Milling Rd. It’s the perfect spot if you’re looking to add an industrial theme to your Storehouse 408 wedding photos.
Sitting just down the street from the Hespeler Furniture Factory building, Jacob’s landing features a beautiful view of downtown and the Speed River. There’s a cute pergola covered in greenery and a railing that overlooks the river. Additionally you can cross the street to get another beautiful view of the river with some of downtown Hespeler’s old buildings in the background. This spot is a 3 minute drive from Storehouse 408 and is a great place for couple or wedding party photos.
If you’re looking to add a fun downtown look into your wedding photos, you need to check out Queen Street. The junction of Queen St and Guelph Ave has some beautiful buildings that look great in photos.
Want a classy and sophisticated backdrop for your Storehouse 408 wedding photos? Check out the fire station on Tannery St. It was constructed in 1914 and features classical styled columns ornamentation. If you’d like a more modern setting for your wedding photos you can walk a few meters and check out the Hespeler Public Library. The all glass exterior will add a dreamy glow to your wedding photos.
One more location that’s worth mentioning is Ellacot Lookout. It’s a 4 minute drive from Storehouse 408 and has a small parking lot. The lookout is West facing, which makes for amazing sunset photos.
